Our experience working with Nanobit on the Winked project and preparing a new game for release.

At the beginning, finding the right approach to renewable content wasn’t simple. Each project had its own rhythm and artistic tone, and it took time to synchronize creativity with speed. But every iteration brought us closer to a process that truly worked.

When we first joined the project, it wasn’t easy. The game had a highly specific art style, and even skilled artists needed time to adapt. Finding the right visual rhythm and consistency took effort, but we saw this challenge as part of building something lasting, not as a roadblock.

With Nanobit, we’ve established:

This system saves time on explanations and resubmissions, helping us focus on creativity and allowing any team member to jump in when needed (e.g., during vacation season) without affecting quality.

These clear formats didn’t appear overnight. At first, we would often go back and forth on details like file naming, feedback order, and review timing. Once we documented everything and set up simple visual guidelines, the confusion disappeared and creativity took the lead.

3. Dedicated Teams = Consistent Results

We’ve built dedicated teams for Nanobit projects who are well-versed in:

● The visual style and guidelines.
● The preferences of Nanobit’s art team.
● Previously released in-game assets.

Our team members also understand how the pipeline has evolved, how models have been improved, and how assets are used in the game itself. This knowledge helps prevent errors, as artists understand both the “what” and the “why” behind each task and requirement.
Having dedicated teams allows us to consistently deliver high-quality and speedy turnarounds without the need to retrain or micromanage.

It helped artists immediately understand what and how to draw, so by the time they started real production, they already felt confident and aligned with the visual tone.

The key here is transparent planning: we evaluate briefs in advance and respond quickly with realistic deadlines. Both sides stay flexible when needed.
For example, during development of the new game, Nanobit asked us to urgently create an extra collection of assets within a week, and our trained team delivered.
Those moments showed how much our team had grown. A year earlier, such an urgent request would have caused stress; now it was a challenge we were ready for. Every artist knew their role and trusted the process, and that made all the difference.
In another case, when a major pipeline change was being implemented in Winked, we needed extra time to produce the new visuals. Our team needed to get comfortable with new tools and workflows. The client understood and extended the timeline.
As a result, both sides experienced mutual support, convenience, and clarity with no bottlenecks.
